I can already smell the hint of spring in the air, and it fills me with an absolutely joyful excitement. There’s something about those longer days that lifts my spirit, and I’m soaking up every extra minute of daylight these days offer. Yet, I find myself also holding on to the slower pace of winter, not quite ready to rush into the bustle of longer days just yet.
As the seasons shift, I’ve been reflecting a lot on what brings me peace. I’ve always loved the warmth of old books and the gentle hum of quiet, cozy coffee shops. Big, beautiful trees and the charm of old farmhouses seem to whisper to me, even in my early morning dreams. It’s the simple, slower pace of winter that makes these things feel even more magical… especially when wrapped in a handmade quilt by the fire!

Making time for in-person conversations and writing letters by hand—these are things that bring me an endless sense of joy. Somehow, they feel so much easier when the world around me is quiet and still. But as the days lengthen and everything around me comes to life with color and energy, I’m realizing that there’s also a beauty in connecting with a world so full of life and movement… which makes me even more eager to dig into the garden!!
I’d love to hear what has been filling your days lately. Whether it’s the slow joy of winter or the fresh start of spring, I’m always curious about what brings you peace and inspiration. I hope you’re finding moments to savor, no matter what the season has brought your way. Send me a email, I’d truly love to hear from you!
