Hi there! I'm Amanda, and I’m so excited to be your school’s photographer this year! I specialize in Fine Art School Portraits—a modern, timeless approach to school photos that lets your child’s personality shine. No awkward poses or forced smiles—just beautiful, honest portraits that reflect who they really are.

Let’s get you prepped for Picture Day so everything goes smoothly for you and your kiddo! 📸

What Are Fine Art School Portraits?

Think natural light, simple black backgrounds, and real expressions. These are not your typical school photos.

Instead of asking kids to say “cheese,” I take the time to help them feel comfortable and be themselves—whether that means a quiet smile, a thoughtful expression, or a burst of laughter. The result? What Should My Child Wear?
Feel free to allow your child to wear beloved items that reflect his/her personality. Otherwise, lean toward subtle patterns and colors that look best on your child.

Here are some tips for picture-perfect outfits:

• Choose clothes that your child loves and feels great in.
• Stick to subtle colors or simple patterns that don’t distract.
• Textures and layers photograph beautifully (think knits, denim, or corduroy).
• Avoid large logos, writing, or cartoon characters on clothing.

Outfits don’t need to be fancy—just authentic and comfortable.

When & How Will I Get My Photos?
Within two weeks of your child’s photo day, you will be emailed a link to a secure, online gallery, organized by class, where you will be able to view your child's custom-edited images. You can expect between 3-8 images per child in both color and black-and-white.

You will be able to order prints and digital files directly from this gallery of your favorite poses. When you order prints, they will be delivered directly to your home upon approval and processing. Please note that shipping is an additional cost that will be added onto your order at checkout.

You get to choose your favorites and what you want to order—It’s all done online, easily and securely.

Note: Galleries will be available for 10 days. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED DURING THAT 10-DAY WINDOW.

How Do I Access My Online Gallery?

• Your school will have a private, password-protected gallery.
• You’ll need to enter your email address and the unique gallery password (shared only with school families).
• Inside, your child’s class will have its own album.
• Click on your child’s name to view their individual photo folder and start ordering!
